Child’s Play - Crawly Cubbies

Tasked to make moveable play pieces for a Vancouver preschool with children ages 3-5, we made a simple form that would allow a child to crawl under, use as a rocker, and build fortresses.

We dubbed them 'Crawly Cubbies'.

The imagination of children is boundless. When brought to the preschool, the children turned them into Santa's sleigh, mountains, chairs, and slides, among others things. Just wide enough for two to sit side by side, who knows what adventures they'll go on together next!
